Cyber crime costs UK organisations over £27 billion each year.  Such statistics, whilst staggering, hide the true cost of these types of attacks.

Current Threats

Find out about active security threats by catching up with the latest intelligence from the National Cyber Security Centre.

You can also request membership to the CISP platform where our industry partners collaborate with law enforcement officers here.

The East Midlands Cyber Resilience Centre (EMCRC) is set up to support and help protect businesses across the region against cyber crime.

By working in conjunction with local universities and the five East Midlands police forces - Derbyshire, Leicestershire, Lincolnshire, Northamptonshire and Nottinghamshire - EMCRC possess the latest information on emerging cyber threats, criminal trends and best safeguarding practice. This enables the Centre - which offers a free membership option - to provide businesses with timely guidance to prepare and protect themselves from cyber criminals.

EMCRC is modelled on a successful structured collaboration acclaimed by the National Police Chiefs' Council (NPCC). It is part of a developing network of Resilience Centres across the UK with Business Resilience International Management.
